We asked a fairly simple question about home heating in 2030 — and the responses quickly turned into a much broader conversation than we expected.
What came back wasn’t a neat set of answers, but a mix of experience, frustration, scepticism, optimism, and a lot of practical thinking about what actually works in real homes.
Cost, reliability, trust in new systems, installation quality, and resilience all came up repeatedly in the comments.
Some people are genuinely happy with newer technologies, others have had poor experiences, and many are simply planning to keep what they already have for as long as possible.
This video isn’t about telling anyone what choice they should make.
It’s about listening to what people are saying, and understanding why those views exist — especially if big changes to home heating are being discussed at a national level.
