In a pair of holiday cottages we built more than 10 years ago we had ASHPs installed (Mitsubishi) attched to Nu-Heat brand u/floor heating and 300 Ltr Hot water cylinder. They operated well.
We are starting to build a detached 3 Bed house for daughter/Son-in-Law and had decided to go down the ashp route.Mainly to get to the required SAP calcs. Your podcast has given me food for thought and I am now unsure ( the original company who carried out our install is no longer around), whether to stick to gas. (Gas is available within 20 metres or so). How can I avoid the pitfalls that your podcast man underlined.
